Job Purpose:

• Deliver high-standard care for gastrointestinal patients, supervise subordinates, engage in education and training, conduct research, and participate in quality improvement programs within Saudi Arabia’s National Guard Health Affairs (NGHA).

Requirements:

• Education: Medical degree from a recognized institution; accredited Residency and Fellowship in Gastroenterology.
• Certification: Specialty Board certification approved by the Saudi Council of Health Specialties.
• Experience: Minimum 7 years post-training, with at least 2 years in a tertiary care center (1 year abroad for general consultants; 2 years abroad for subspecialists).
• Skills: Proficiency in English (essential), Arabic (preferred), and advanced computer skills.
• Additional Merits: Research productivity, peer-reviewed publications, and exceptional patient care or teaching performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage inpatient and outpatient gastrointestinal care and consultations.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as per granted privileges.
• Participate in on-call rotations and educational activities.
• Engage in research, training programs, and committee assignments.
• Adhere to organizational regulations, ethical standards, and medical bylaws.
• Exhibit professionalism and respect for all patients and colleagues.
