Basic Function:
- Provide patient care, supervise and educate healthcare staff, participate in quality assurance, and contribute to the training, research, and administrative functions of the Internal Medicine Division.
Requirements:
- Education: Graduation from a recognized medical school with board certification in Internal Medicine. Completion of an accredited residency program acceptable to NGHA.
- Experience: A minimum of 7 years (training and post-training) in Internal Medicine, including at least one year abroad in a tertiary care center.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in English (Essential); Arabic (Essential).
- Computer Skills: Expert level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-standard inpatient and outpatient care aligned with NGHA’s mission, vision, and values.
- Provide consultation services within and outside the department during regular and on-call hours.
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as per granted privileges.
- Supervise and mentor residents, Associate/Assistant Consultants, and staff physicians, serving as a role model.
- Actively engage in quality improvement programs and scientific research initiatives.
- Participate in on-call coverage, divisional, departmental, and organizational committees, and adhere to all professional and ethical standards.
- Maintain respect for patients, families, and healthcare team members, ensuring professionalism and compliance with organizational bylaws.
